Angel Food Ministries
We are the local host for Angel Food Ministries. This is a national not-for-profit organization centered in Georgia. When first started February of 1994, the ministry fed 34 families. Last year (2006), 1.6 million families in 32 states were fed! Locally, we fill approximately 60 orders a month. Church workers take delivery from a long haul trailer and distribute the food at our church. For $28, there is enough food to feed a family of four for one week or one person for a month. All foods are the same high quality purchased at a grocery store, no damage, out of day, or dented cans. Besides canned or packaged goods, orders include only fresh produce and frozen meats.
